Dr. Alice’s passion for skin cancer medicine began during her time in the Dermatology Department at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. A pivotal moment in her career occurred when she encountered a 27 year-old male patient with melanoma that had spread to his brain. Given the poor prognosis, it was heartbreaking to learn that he had a newborn baby at home. This experience solidified her commitment to making a real difference in the lives of those affected by skin cancer.
Dr. Alice is currently a dedicated member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia, holding an Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy and a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery. She performs thorough skin checks and conducts skin cancer surgeries, including melanoma, SCC, and BCC excisions, on a daily basis—without exception, even including Sundays. To ensure she remains at the forefront of the field, Dr. Alice attends numerous skin cancer conferences to stay updated on the latest diagnostic and treatment guidelines.
Dr. Alice’s interest in dermatology also extends to aesthetic treatments, including cosmetic mole removals, acne and keloid scar treatments, as well as anti-wrinkle, filler, and Rejuran injections.
Moreover, Dr. Alice is passionate about women’s health and takes pride in being a strong female advocate. She regularly performs Mirena and Implanon insertions and removals, iron infusions, and weight loss counseling, to name just a few, with a focus on providing compassionate and high-quality care for women.
With each patient Dr. Alice treats, her dedication grows, and she is proud to contribute to the ongoing fight against skin cancer while also supporting the health and well-being of her patients in every aspect of their care. In her spare time, Alice enjoys exercise, gardening and traveling.
